Serge Petroff

Chief Executive Officer

As Axylyum Charter’s CEO and founding partner, Mr. Petroff oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization. This includes the management of the software development team, advertising team, litigation team assignments and strategy, due diligence underwriting, purchasing and closing, negotiation/settlement guidance, and property disposition. Mr. Petroff’s dedication to the field of foreclosure has been recognized by numerous organizations.  During his tenure as a civil litigator in New York, Mr. Petroff attended thousands of foreclosure settlement conferences, successfully conducted trials and argued contested foreclosure matters before the Appellate Courts. His commitment to offering litigation services to individuals with special needs and those in poverty has been recognized by numerous non-for-profit organizations of the State of New York. Mr. Petroff has been awarded the New York State Supreme Court Pro Bono Award, Brooklyn Bar Association Gold Certificate for Exceptional Commitment to Pro Bono Service, and was a member of Director’s Circle of the Volunteer Lawyers Project. 

 

As a practicing trial attorney, Mr. Petroff taught various programs to admitted attorneys in New York. In addition, he is an active speaker and presenter in the industry. Some of his engagements include, The Foreclosure Program Roundtable, Foreclosure Updates for Volunteer Lawyers, Foreclosure Basics, and Advance Topics in Foreclosure Defense. Mr. Petroff currently resides in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and three children.
